•Act as second line support to System problems, provision of advice when requested by users
•Handle the resolution of escalated problems and issues from operating engineers.
•Interface with external vendors for timely completion of any IT related issues.
•Ensure continual improvement of technical, communications and interpersonal knowledge with the team
•Participate in a 24hr on call rota schedule for any escalated incident
•Provide line support to (Servers , Active directory /switches, network & system infrastructure )
•Supervise the systems support including servers , desktop, printers and any IT relevant products
•Handle the network and infrastructure support including Routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, telephony and any other infrastructure devices for all MBC offices
•Provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT team in Egypt
•Hold departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives to the team and plan for growth paths for staff
Requirements:
Degree in computer sciences, or related field and at least five years experience in technical operations management and/or an equivalent of experience.
