Sales and Estimation Engineer

A Reputable Company located in Beirut is seeking to recruit a Sales and Estimation Engineer.


Main Duties:



  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and develop effective sales strategies to promote products and services.

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the features, benefits, and value proposition.

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to assess project requirements and scope of work.

  • Prepare comprehensive project proposals, bids, and cost estimates based on client requirements, technical specifications, and market conditions.

  • Work closely with internal departments, including engineering, procurement, and production, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate estimation of material and labor costs.

  • Analyze project risks, opportunities, and constraints, and develop mitigation strategies to enhance project feasibility and competitiveness.

  • Respond to client inquiries, clarify technical specifications, and address concerns or objections to facilitate successful contract negotiations and close sales deals.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as cultivate new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, and provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and strategic decision-making.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, project proposals, estimates, and client communications using CRM software or other relevant tools.

Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any relevant field.

  • 3 plus years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in sales and estimation roles within the mechanical equipment or industries.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project’s requirements.

  • Effective interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using estimation software, spreadsheet tools, and CRM systems to analyze data, generate reports, and manage sales’ activities.

  • Fluent in English.
