We are seeking a highly motivated part-time Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our team in Dekwene and play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you will be the bridge between our data and the decision-makers who rely on it to achieve success.
Work Schedule:
• Part-time: Monday - Friday, 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Primary Responsibility: Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with departmental OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and corporate OKRs for all departments and employees. Develop corresponding dashboards to visualize these KPIs and track progress.
• Gather data from various sources, including databases, ERPs, APIs, SCM, CRM systems, and social media platforms, etc etc/
• Clean, organize, and prepare data for analysis using high-quality data integration techniques.
• Leverage BI tools and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and uncover hidden patterns.
• Develop and maintain data models to support efficient data analysis.
• Create compelling data visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Partner with different business teams (marketing, sales, finance, etc.) to understand their OKR needs and translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in Business Intelligence (BI) development.
• Accountability for OKRs Success, Training and Reporting: Be fully accountable for the OKRs reporting tool(s) and data accuracy within these tools.
• Generate management reports based on Goals, conduct check-ins, and provide feedback on progress towards OKRs.
• Provide constant training to the team on how to use OKRs and how to update their goals in the OKR platform.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Business acumen and a strong understanding of how data can be used to solve business problems.
• Experience with OKR frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
