Customer Service Officer- Shipping Line Experience

Job Requirements:
Education : Bachelor Degree in Transportation and Logistics or any related field
Experience: minimum 2-3 years experience in Shipping Lines.

Job Duties:

- Contribute to the implementation of Department Policies and Procedures and achieve department targets.
- Negotiate rates and charges with clients, agents, and principals to ensure approval by concerned parties and secure bookings of vessels.
- Arrange Customers visits when required or requested by Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Follow up import/export bookings with both agents and clients till arrival at destination.
- Follow up with clients Bill of Lading reviews and correction upon in coordination with documentation dept.
- Follow up, coordinate & solve claims between client, agents & principals when necessary.
- Ensure proper rate agreed input to the local system and follow its validity.
- Insert in sales data sheet, booking details, gained/lost accounts, market info, quotations sent and visits feedback.
- Keep Sales & Marketing Manager and Branch Manager duly informed about any raising problem with clients or principals.
- Perform other related activities as requested by Sales & Marketing Manager and Branch Manager
