• Prepare monthly Payroll.
• Revision and approval of Bank Transactions.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, monthly payroll and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Lead and confirm/post month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and Validate Withholding tax report.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, including training and development opportunities to support their growth and advancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support business initiatives and address accounting-related matters.
• Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual reports, variance analysis, and other financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance and support business objectives.

Required Skills:
8+ years experience as a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant, preferably in a telecommunication service company.
BA in Accounting and Finance, MA is a plus.
CPA or CMA Certificate is highly valued.
Ability to work in a demanding work environment with various projects and tight deadlines for multiple subsidiaries within Africa.

Job Location:
Horsh, Tabet, Sin El Fil, Lebanon

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
