Customer Service - Food Industry

The Customer Service Representative will be the frontline communicator with our valued clients, handling inquiries, managing feedback, and resolving any issues that arise with deliveries. This role requires a balance of empathy, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with the internal team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of our food meal plans. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, a good listener, and someone who can maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries through phone, email, and social media channels. Provide clear, compassionate, and prompt responses to all customer questions and concerns.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues, delivery status, dietary preferences, and any other service-related queries. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and follow-up.
• Order Management: Coordinate with the internal logistics and kitchen teams to manage food orders, adjustments, and delivery schedules. Ensure that all customer preferences are accurately communicated and implemented.
• Feedback Collection: Collect and report customer feedback regarding meal quality, delivery experience, and overall service. Work with the team to implement improvements based on customer insights.
• Database Maintenance: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and resolutions.
• Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with the dieticians, chefs, and delivery team to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded. Participate in team meetings to discuss service enhancements and operational improvements.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food service, health, or wellness industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.
• A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
