 What You Will Be Doing:

  • Shop Coordinator oversees FabricAID’s Shop; its internal operations and sales.
  • He/she is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively: the sales of the shop, the visual merchandising, the creation of a community around the shop’s customers, the maintenance of an adequate system of sales records, the preparation of sales forecasts and the organization of creative events /activities at the shop. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures.
  •  Open, operate and close both the cash registers
  • Greet and direct customers
  •  Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
  • Oversee stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Coordinate restocking activities to maintain optimal product availability.
  •  Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  •  Assist in the unpacking and display of the merchandise.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the
  • smooth operation of all store operations, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing and submitting reports, monitoring sales
  • receipts and cash and report back to the management on sales transactions, most demanded items and needed merchandise for shop replenishment.
  •  Coordinate with the Brand Manger  on providing excellent customer service 
  •  Provide customer feedback to the Brand Manager 
  • Stay up-to-date with new fashion trends

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Academic B/G: High school degree
  • Experience:2-3 Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively.
  • Team player attitude with the ability to support sales initiatives.
  • Display comfort in utilizing POS systems, inventory software, and computer skills.
  • Languages: Arabic, English
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
