Key Accountabilities
- Candidate will be working with the M&A team of BUTEC reporting to the CFO.
- Ensure exposure to the entire M&A cycle.
- Contribute to the entire deal execution process, including idea generation, structuring, financial analysis, valuation, negotiations, client relationship, due diligence, documentation.
- Prepare presentation and discussion material, including pitches, teaser, information memorandum, models, valuation analysis and financial simulations.
- Maintain solid understanding of key market trends and issues across Africa and the Middle East.
Skills
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Up to a maximum of 5 years of investment banking, private equity and consulting experience as a generalist within a reputable domestic or international advisory firm.
- Strong modelling, financial analysis, and valuation skills.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- Bachelor and/ or Master’s degree from leading institutions in Europe and/ or Middle East.
- Must be curious and eager to learn.
- Ties to Africa are a plus, but not essential.
- Fluent in French, English and Arabic.
