- Responsible for overseeing mechanical tender/estimation activities and procurement processes to ensure timely, competitive, and high-quality tender submissions.
- Prepare detailed comparisons of sub-contractors and suppliers (technical and financial aspects) and analyze prices to select the appropriate categories for inclusion in the tender.
- Manage the procurement process for mechanical components, including subcontractor and supplier contracts.
- Provide feedback on the performance of subcontractors to determine their suitability for future tender offers.
- Review and assess contractual and legal tender terms and conditions.
- Maintain knowledge of industry-specific equipment, materials, and suppliers.
- Prepare material submittals in accordance with project requirements.
- Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate purchase agreements with them.
- Procure equipment, materials, and systems that comply with project quality and specification requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and subcontractors within approved budget costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials to support site installation works, adhering to the approved work program.
- Identify potential risks related to tendering and procurement processes and propose mitigation strategies.
