Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Recruit new clients open accounts in our ecommerce platform
  • present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Help manage our online marketing presence, including on social media platforms
  • Monitor changes in website traffic or increases in sales
  • Assist with forming the website overall digital marketing strategy

E-Commerce Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferred)
  • Experience managing digital product inventory
  • Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication skills
  • Fluency in social media: Hands-on skills and knowledge of multiple social media platforms and awareness of current trends.
  • Excellent communication skills: Solid writing, editing, SEO, storytelling and presentation skills with a strong sense of who the segment audience is and how to meet their needs.
  • Strong understanding of networking tools: Competence of networking tools, such as Hootsuite and others, that makes it possible to manage several social media accounts from a single dashboard.
  • Computer and design skills: Experience using WordPress as well as other content management systems, along with working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills: Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple competing tasks and organize them, meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Ability to think on your feet: Ability to confidently make the right decision at the spur of the moment.
  • Ability to work well with others: Not only will the candidate be required to interact with the public through online platforms on behalf of the employer, but they may be required to meet with other departments to synchronize their efforts and resolve common issues
