Administrative Assistant with Accounting Background

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Administrative Assistant with a strong Accounting Background to join our team. This role is integral in providing administrative support while also contributing to financial and bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities :-

  • Manage and organize schedules, appointments and meetings for team members.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and directing financial inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain and update company financial records and databases.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and assist in budget tracking.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.

Requirements :-

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant with an accounting background.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma; additional education or certification in accounting is a plus.
