Executive chef

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develops and plans menus considering members, guests, marketing conditions, costs, and other applicable factors and oversees its execution.
• Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events
• Develops and monitors culinary and labor budget
• Supervises Cooks and oversees the supervision of production
• Recruits, hires, and trains all kitchen and event staff
• Conducts regular department staff meetings and training
• Administers schedules, employee performance evaluations, coaching, and counseling sessions as needed

Job requirements, Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to track expenses and manage a budget
• Team player
• Human resource management skills are required; recruitment, selection, training, performance management etc
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong passion for the art of food design
• Must have proven experience as a Chef, Cook, Catering Manager or equivalent
• Culinary Degree or equivalent experience
