TECMAN Industry s.a.l. is a leading interior decoration contractor and steel structures manufacturer operating in the EMEA region. The company operates two factories and a workshop in Lebanon specialized in wood works, steel structures, and stainless steel fabrication.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant . In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in a variety of accounting practices, including accounts receivable and payable and reconciling the general ledger. To succeed in this position, you will be highly accurate and efficiently adding value to the accounting team and upholding our firm's exceptional reputation.


Responsibilities

Receives, Reviews and Controls Purchases orders (ensures that PO’s and invoices are matched)
Prepares Journal Vouchers
Reconciles clients/suppliers accounts/statements
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and making approval prior to payment
Prepares and processes invoices, cheque requests and contract payments
Matches invoices to cheque, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute cheque accordingly.
Controls inventory transactions
Petty cash payments and vouchers
Updates L/G schedules and Accounts
Updates L/C schedules and Accounts
Maintain on monthly basis all equity accounts and schedule.
Maintains regular contact with the Procurement Department to obtain and convey information and/or correct transaction.
Maintain files including filing of general vouchers, accounts payable documentation and other miscellaneous filings related to the accounting department.
Other duties as assigned.

Expertise in accounting principles and practices
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data accurately and efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
