Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage all aspects of marketing tagging & tracking across the digital ecosystem, including desktop, mobile, and app platforms, with a strong focus on Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Develop a comprehensive tagging strategy that aligns with business objectives, ensuring accurate data collection for analysis and decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of tags and cookies, prioritizing site performance and user experience while ensuring compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
• Proactively monitor data and tag quality, investigating any issues or discrepancies, and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to privacy regulations.
• Utilize tools such as GA4, GTM, BigQuery, Looker and Google Cloud Platform to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.
• Create and present easy-to-understand data visualizations and reports, communicating insights and actionable solutions that drive demonstrable results.
• Work closely with web development, marketing, and legal teams to implement solutions, providing detailed specification documentation and guidance on best practices for data privacy.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of tagging standards and strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices in marketing tag implementation, and the latest trends in online marketing and design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related area, with a solid background in data analysis and digital marketing.
• Demonstrated experience with Google Marketing Platform tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and familiarity with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform for advanced data analysis.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., Angular.js, React.js). Additional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and server-side languages is beneficial.
• Experience with API integration and web services is preferred, including ETL services.
• Knowledge of SQL, server-side tracking methodologies, and a thorough understanding of data privacy frameworks and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Independent worker and team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio) is preferred.
• Certification in GA4, GTM and related analytics practice.

• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, to meet project deliverables on time.
• Demonstrates the ability to provide respectful and constructive feedback.
• Identifies potential risks in analytics implementations and develops strategies to mitigate them.
• Continuously seeks opportunities for professional development and encourages a culture of innovation and improvement in analytics practices.

• Excellent presentation skills, capable of discussing and demonstrating technical solutions to a variety of audiences.

• Experience with Shopify, Segment CDP, Klaviyo or similar CRMs.
