We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality ingredients and materials at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the production team to forecast ingredient needs and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet demand.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize purchasing strategies.
- Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Supervise a team of purchasing staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
*Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
