• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for Raw Materials
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Coordinating with the team member regarding their supply needs
• Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
• Keeping a record of all purchased items and vendors.
• Oversees shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and finished goods.
• Knows the ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 22000: 2005 standards especially related to the purchasing process like HCCAP.
• Checks the quantity of the received and delivered products
• Establishing new potential suppliers
