We are seeking to recruit a maintenance manager for a manufacturing company located in Abidjan. The maintenance manager role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and transportation fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure timely repairs.
Coordinate with the procurement department for source quality spare parts.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly.
Monitor equipment performance and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.

Truck and Transport Machinery Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance of the company's fleet of trucks, trailers, and transport machinery used for delivering ready mix concrete.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all trucks and transport equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to address maintenance issues and schedule regular inspections and servicing.
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and maintenance costs to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for vehicle safety, emissions, and licensing.
Collaborate with procurement and fleet management teams to source quality parts and accessories for the fleet.

Team Management:
Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions to production.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to optimize workflow and resource utilization.

Compliance and Documentation:
Evaluate equipment performance data and propose budget allocations for upgrades or replacements.
Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, tools, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs.
Prepare reports and analysis on maintenance performance, highlighting areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
7 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, motor, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Familiarity with maintenance software and tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
French and English literate
