1. To consult with other professionals about design.
2. To perform design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design software.
3. To keep within financial budgets and deadlines.
4. To produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications.
5. To specify the nature and quality of materials required.
6. To assist with negotiation with contractors and other professionals.
7. To prepare applications for planning and building control departments.
8. To undertake regular site visits to check on progress and compliance to design.
9. To assist with the resolution of problems and issues that arise during construction;
10. To ensure that the environmental impact of the design is managed
11. To attend regular meetings with clients, other architects and consultants and keep them informed of progress.
12. To develop a relationship with the Project Engineer and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.
Skills
- Degree in Architecture.
- At least 5+ years experience.
- Currently based in Lebanon.
