Sequel is an IT for Treasury service provider focused on delivering professional services to financial institutions that rely on MX platform for their treasury and capital markets business activity. With offices in Dubai and Beirut, we provide on-site and off-site support and implementation services to clients in Middle East and South Africa.
Sequel is currently looking for a Managed Services specialist to join our growing team in Beirut.
Responsibilities
- Engage in Comprehensive Training: Contribute actively to internal Sequel training (DevOps, Cloud Computing, Environment Management, Testing Automation, etc.), initiatives and assignments.
- Contribute to Client Projects: Apply acquired skills in client engagements, requiring adaptability to diverse technologies and platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Understanding client requirements and providing customized solution
- Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and be able to drive technical discussions with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting clients' platforms and applications.
- Design and implement tools needed for operations (monitoring, automation, scheduling, etc.)
- Work in CICD model using GitHub, Jenkins, and Splunk for project execution.
- Provide on-site or remote support to Sequel clients.
- Work in shift rotations as required by operational demands (possible night-shifts).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong programming and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following disciplines: Unix commands, Shell Scripting, Object Oriented Programming, SQL, Algorithms, XSL, XML
- Knowledge of CICD, Jenkins, splunk and Github is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (English is a must)
