Mystery shopping involves acting as a regular customer to evaluate a business's customer service.
As a freelancer, you'll visit assigned locations, observe and interact with staff, and then complete an online survey detailing your experience.
You may also need to take photos, record audio, and keep receipts. There are two main types of visits: non-purchasing (e.g., retail stores) and purchasing (e.g., restaurants, where expenses are typically reimbursed).
No prior experience is necessary, and free training is provided
