We are looking for a Junior Lawyer to join our legal and compliance team within a regulated brokerage firm.
The ideal candidate will support legal matters related to trading operations, regulatory compliance, contract drafting, and internal policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or recently qualified lawyer to gain practical experience in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating client agreements, IB/affiliate agreements, terms & conditions, and other legal documents relevant to brokerage operations
• Conduct legal research and provide support on regulatory issues applicable to investment firms and applicable frameworks
• Monitor regulatory changes and support implementation of new legal and compliance requirements
• Support the onboarding of third parties (service providers, IBs, liquidity providers, etc.) from a legal documentation perspective
• Liaise with external legal advisors, regulators, and internal departments (Back Office, Compliance, Risk, Marketing) on legal matters
• Assist in preparing internal reports, risk assessments, and legal summaries
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of legal and compliance policies and procedures
• Maintain organized legal files, contract databases, and records of correspondence
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to a bar or in the process of qualification is an advantage
• 0–2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a financial institution, brokerage, or law firm with financial services clients
• Strong knowledge or keen interest in financial markets, investment services, and brokerage operations
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with brokerage regulations is a plus
• Fluent in English (verbal and written); Greek or other languages considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Proactive, team-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
