Group HR Manager

The Group HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all Human Resources functions for the group's owned brands, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the company's operational goals through effective personnel management. This role is vital for the recruitment , training, and development of all restaurant teams and key personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team Support & Leadership
- Assist the Director of Operations with the recruitment and selection of key personnel for the group's brands.
- Provide guidance and support for conflict resolution and problem-solving that arise.
- Help foster a positive and productive work environment across all brands.
- Coordinate with the Director of Operations and restaurant managers to facilitate regular meetings with restaurant teams to review performance and discuss challenges.

Training and Development
- Oversee staff training and development programs across all operational matters.
- Ensure the implementation of training related to customer service and complaint resolution standards.
- Coordinate training for compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Manage the process for conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to restaurant managers.

Policy and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of local regulations and licensing requirements related to labor and employment.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to food safety and sanitation.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR management systems.

Operational HR Functions
- Support the Director of Operations with strategies for continuous improvement related to employee efficiency and productivity.
- Help manage personnel costs as part of the overall strategy to maximize profitability and control costs.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to personnel costs.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.

Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Pre-opening Experience
- Knowledge of local regulations and licensing requirements.
- Bilingualism (English and Arabic).
- French is a plus
