Job Details

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Fit-Out Architect with 10–15 years of experience in fit-out projects to join our construction team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural fit-out works on site, coordinating with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Site & Fit-Out Management
Supervise and manage all architectural and interior fit-out works on site.
Ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure proper sequencing and coordination of works.
Review construction details and resolve technical and architectural issues arising on site.
Ensure proper execution of finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, doors, joinery, cladding, painting, and other architectural works.
Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with required quality standards.
Coordinate inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects and outstanding works.
Drawings & Technical Coordination

Review architectural, interior design, shop drawings, and construction drawings.
Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, electrical, and other disciplines.
Review and coordinate subcontractor/shop drawings and material submissions.
Identify discrepancies and design conflicts and coordinate their resolution with consultants and the project team.
Assist in preparing and reviewing RFIs, technical submittals, and site instructions.
Ensure that the latest approved drawings and documents are being used on site.
Project Coordination

Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings as required.
Follow up on project progress and identify potential delays or technical issues.
Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors to ensure materials and works are available as required by the project schedule.
Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones and completion targets.
Quality Control

Ensure architectural works comply with project specifications, approved materials, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of finishing works.
Prepare and follow up on snagging and de-snagging activities.
Ensure proper mock-ups and samples are approved before mass execution.
Assist in maintaining project quality records and documentation.
Site Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports related to architectural and fit-out activities.
Maintain records of inspections, approvals, RFIs, drawings, material submissions, and site instructions.
Monitor quantities and progress of fit-out works and report discrepancies when required.
Assist with project handover documentation and as-built requirements.
Health & Safety

Ensure that fit-out activities are carried out in accordance with the company's health and safety requirements.
Coordinate with the HSE team to identify and address site risks.
Ensure subcontractors and workers comply with site safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
10–15 years of professional experience, with significant experience in fit-out, interior, commercial, residential, hospitality, or similar construction projects.
Proven experience working in a construction/contracting company and managing architectural works on site.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural finishes, and fit-out execution.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.
Experience in coordinating subcontractors and multiple project disciplines.
Experience in project handover, snagging, and defect management.
Strong knowledge of construction specifications, materials, and quality requirements.
Experience with AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit and/or other BIM software is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
