The Wok is seeking a Senior Accountant to independently manage the full accounting function for our restaurant branches and central kitchen. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mar Mikhael, Beirut.

Key responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and prepare timely monthly financial reports.
• Prepare and analyze branch and central kitchen P&L statements, profitability, budgets, and forecasts.
• Reconcile inventory, investigate variances, and monitor food cost and wastage.
• Reconcile daily cash, bank transactions, payroll, supplier accounts, receivables, and payables.
• Manage supplier payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Prepare VAT and tax filings and ensure compliance with Lebanese requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain clear accounting records, controls, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate directly with management and provide practical financial insights.

Candidate requirements:
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-branch experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, P&L analysis, inventory reconciliation, food-cost control, payroll, cash reconciliation, VAT, and taxes.
• Able to work independently as the sole accountant and manage deadlines accurately.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Available to work full-time on site in Mar Mikhael, Beirut
