The Banking Officer main responsibilities are to follow up on the daily banking transactions and monitor balances while preparing and issuing necessary reports highlighting concerns when necessary. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

Follow up, monitor and control the daily transactions related to the group with different banks and share concerns with direct manager when necessary;  

Perform daily data entry and input of daily transactions to system; 

Open and prepare LC and direct payment weekly report; 

Monitor and follow-up on a daily basis the different banking operations such as deposits, withdrawals, interests and related corrections, ensuring they are properly and accurately registered in the system;  

Ensure all documents and statements related to different banking operations are well received and sent to concerned from accounting;  

Prepare and send “Balances” report to management highlighting critical matters when necessary;  

Prepare and send the daily collection methods report and the daily deposit report to concerned and management; 

Perform the reconciliation of different balances between the accounting system and other systems as well as cross checking them with statement of accounts received from banks highlighting discrepancies when necessary;  

Handle the reconciliation and closing of all suspended and receivable / payable accounts; 

Receive and check the different statement of accounts from banks, confirm data and share with concerned from accounting;  

Monitor deposits and withdrawals, control commission and value, and prepare relevant monthly reports to be sent to management; 

Follow up, monitor and confirm the calculations of the interests allocated to companies in different banks and prepare related reports for submission to management;  

Follow up on the banking services and loans issuing related reports on quarterly basis;  

Follow up and solve unclear and detained matters with different banks;  

Produce other daily and monthly reports as required;  

Handle proper sorting, copying and archiving of documents and files; 

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
