The Faculty of Engineering is currently seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for its facilities at Souk El Ghareb Campus.

Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering: The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for 1 full-time Laboratory Supervisor , at the Souk El Ghareb campus . Candidates must have earned a BE or MS in Civil Engineering. Outstanding candidates with expertise in similar areas may also be considered. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation, organization, and maintenance of the Civil and Environmental Engineering laboratories at the Souk El Ghareb campus. The supervisor will support faculty members and students during laboratory sessions, ensure that equipment and software are properly maintained and available, oversee the implementation of laboratory safety procedures, and assit with research.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Assist in conducting laboratory experiments and testing programs
• Prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data
• Assist faculty members and graduate students with research activities
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards
• Support the day-to-day operation and organization of the laboratory

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master s degree preferred)
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and experimental methods
• Experience with civil engineering laboratory equipment is desirable
• Good analytical, technical writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a research team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software applications is an asset
• Strong pedagogical skills and enthusiasm for teaching
• Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
