Kitchen Commis

 

As a Commis Chef you are responsible for the daily mis-en-place and duties assigned to meet the set standards and qualities. 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive and Assistant Chef in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the instructions of the Executive Chef and/or his assistant
• Keep work area in hygienic conditions at all times according to the rules set by Beit Rafqa
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen
• Assist in the preparation and service of all food items
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Coordinate and participate with other sections for special requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
