What you will be doing
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work closely with our global teams based in Dubai. The Content Manager is responsible for the overall content marketing execution at group level.
The Content Manager must be a word smith, creative and comfortable working with remotely located teams in different time zones. Here, passion, integrity and a “can-do” attitude are always top of mind.
The Content manager’s role is split into 4 key areas:
1-Expert-led content creation
· Follow the content marketing strategy, facilitate the ongoing content planning, by developing and following the editorial calendar, and manage tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
· Research to define appropriate subjects and topics, analyze competitive content and distribution tactics.
· Facilitate internal interviews with subject matter experts to retrieve information and create expert led content.
· Collaborate with creative design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout.
· Create captivating multimedia content (Graphics/video) in coordination with design teams.
· Write, edit, proofread and improve content in coordination with copywriters.
· Repurpose content for social media – write captions, create infographics and more.
· Be the brand custodian: sign off artwork ensuring brand tone of voice and image is maintained according to the brand guidelines.
· Ensure compliance with law
· Coordinate with SEO agency to make sure we follow strategy.
2-Social Media Activation & Community Management
· Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms
· Manage social media communities to keep follower base engaged and increase brand visibility.
· Oversee paid campaigns strategy, creation, execution, optimization, and monitoring to deliver best ROI.
3-Email Marketing
· Manage the creation, scheduling, testing and deployment of all customer email campaigns and newsletter, ensuring timely deployment to maximize performance.
· Ongoing management and continued segmentation of email database to identify and target actives, lapsers and dormant with specific campaigns.
· Track the performance of emails KPI’s against the targets and communicate the performance to internal stakeholders.
4-Strategy, Budget, and Reporting
· Work within the budget and report any overspend.
· Support with planning and adjust plans according to strategy
· Communicate and report performance results with actionable recommendations
What you will bring along
This role requires a passion about the retail/luxury industry , content marketing and management . It also requires strong organization skills as well as past experience in social media marketing . You should also have the below:
Must have
· 5+ years of experience in social media marketing.
· Degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field.
· Excellent, flawless writing skills in English with demonstrable ability to put together business worthy written pieces.
· Strong, flawless, and high attention to detail.
· Good understanding of brand guidelines.
· Demonstrable experience with social media.
· Strong project management skills, and proven ability to work within deadlines.
· Ability to work with a remote team.
· Good analytical skills
· Experience on social media: LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
· Microsoft Office skills.
Good to have
· Experience in B2B and inbound marketing strategies.
· Experience with online inbound marketing tools (HubSpot, CRMs etc)
· Experience with data and analytics in areas such as customer profiling, segmentation & targeting, propensity modelling, data cleansing.
· Understanding of the retail industry and luxury market.
· Experience working with well established brands
· Experience with WordPress
· Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
