J Consult is an HR and Recruitment Consultancy agency teaming up with a client of ours who is in search for an experienced "Food Safety & Quality Manager" in their Operations Department for their restaurants in Beirut, Lebanon.

As a Food Safety & Quality Manager, your role is to direct and manage the company Quality Control and all standard documentation, people-related processes , including auditing, reporting and setting corrective action plans.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and control the annual budget of the Department.
* Ensure the development of Quality Control & Food Safety policies and procedures in collaboration with the Management Committee.
* Organize all activities within the Quality
* Control Department and ensure that the staff is properly trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
* Conduct monthly assessments of restaurants regarding all operational aspects (cleanliness, conformity of products with standards, quality of service…) and report findings and scores.
* Conduct monthly assessment of corporate divisions to ensure conformity with processes and procedures set.
* Investigate customer issues and complaints related to quality (products and services).
* Develop and maintain quality control standards and objectives.
* Ensure continuous updating of the Best Practices Assessment form to ensure comprehensiveness and relevance (corporate and operations).
* Develop and update training manuals and procedures in coordination with the training department.
* Participate in the decision-making on key strategic management matters within the scope of the Management Committee.
* Approve and consolidate the annual training budgets of all departments.
* Stays up to date on the latest developments in the quality management system, food safety and people development fields.
* Undertake any other responsibility assigned by his/her Direct Supervisor.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is a plus.
* 25 to 35 years of age.
* 4+ years’ experience in a similar position.
* Able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.
* Have knowledge of restaurant management and food and beverage, generally involving at least 5 years of front-of-the-house operations and/or restaurant management positions.
* Have advanced knowledge in QMS (Quality Management Systems) and FSMS (Food Safety Management System).
* Have advanced computer skills
