Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead our dynamic team in delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing software development projects from initiation through to completion, utilizing Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage software development projects from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, product owners, and development teams, to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans, identifying critical milestones and dependencies to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and transparency within the development team.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks to project success.
Communicate project status, progress, and key metrics to stakeholders through regular status updates, reports, and presentations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the development team, promoting Agile principles and best practices in software development.
Mentor and coach team members on Agile methodologies, project management practices, and software development processes to drive team performance and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong background in software development and Agile methodologies.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience leading and managing cross-functional development teams in Agile software development environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving project success and delivering value to clients.
PMP, ScrumMaster, or other project management certifications are a plus.
Knowledge of software development technologies and tools (e.g., Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines) is desirable but not required.
