Sales Account Manager

Overview

The Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with customers, while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager is expected to develop new business within assigned territory, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts.
The Account Manager is responsible for focusing on customers with high-value, strategic growth opportunity and he will be responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profitability goal


Responsibilities

• Build and/or develop comprehensive sales initiatives within a stated geography or list of predefined named accounts.
• Identify opportunities for new business, communicate resource needs to address these opportunities to all necessary company personnel.
• Build and maintain high level executive relationships with End User
• Responsible for weekly forecasting reviews, and quarterly sales review with the sales management team.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with industry vendors/partners to maximize the use of needed resources when engaging with customers
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs
• Prepares proposals and quotations based on customer requirements
• Meets assigned targets


Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar industry
• Overall product and solutions knowledge
• Ability to develop solutions based on customer’s business objectives
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage the full sales cycle
• Previous experience in similar role selling ERP, CRM and hardware solutions
