Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment. Duties include performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all machinery operates efficiently. The Mechanical Technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure optimal functionality of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and develop solutions to address them.
4. Repair and replace defective parts in mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, valves, and conveyors.
5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to implement improvements and upgrades to mechanical systems.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
7. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
4. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
