Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team. The Junior Estimator will work closely with our senior estimators to prepare accurate cost estimates, analyze project specifications, and assist in bid preparation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate with 0 to 2 years of experience in construction estimating to gain valuable experience and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities:

* Assist senior estimators in reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare cost estimates.
* Learn to analyze project requirements and identify material, labor, and equipment needs.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to gather quotes and pricing information.
* Assist in preparing detailed cost breakdowns and pricing summaries for bid submissions.
* Support project managers and engineers in developing cost-effective solutions and value engineering initiatives.
* Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 0 to 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field (internship or co-op experience may be considered).
* Strong Drawing and AutoCad skills.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software (training will be provided).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
