IT Support Engineer


Job description
• Virtualization, Microsoft Hyper-V architecture, VMware deployment and support
• Databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008/R2, 2012/R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 standard and
datacenter, installation, customization and administration
• Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware including servers, SAN, NAS, firewalls, switches, routers, phone, troubleshooting networks, systems and applications
• Manage firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolving is mandatory, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, Vlans, Clustering, SQL, Office 365 Management portal, WifI connectivity
• Manage Active Directory privileges, access rights and computer environment using group policy
• Ensure system infrastructure is operating efficiently by monitoring and maintaining servers, workstations, and peripherals and performing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
• Provide remote and on-site support

• Office 365 troubleshooting
• Respond to and resolve help desk requests
• Effectively manage a set of tasks through to completion


Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
Minimum 2 to 3 years proven technical skills and experience working in a
network/system administrator’s role, with servers, virtualization (Hyper-V Failover, VM
Creation and Replication...) and infrastructure
