Some of duties and responsibilities:
• Pricing
• Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules
• Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
• Interview vendors and visit suppliers' plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
• Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers
• Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
• Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities.
• Assisting in compiling of tenders.
• Other tasks required by the administration
Qualifications:
• Having a minimum of TWO years’ experience .
• Demonstrates very good Procurement knowledge.
• Displays team spirit skills.
• Displays very good analytical skills.
• Displays effective verbal, presentation and communications skills.
• Use their mathematical reasoning aptitude
