Quality Inspector- Bakery Plant

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our savory plant team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge relevant to quality control in a manufacturing environment. While food safety knowledge is not required, the candidate should possess strong literacy skills and be able to read and write effectively. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet established quality standards and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform visual and physical inspections of incoming raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Conduct inspections and testing during various stages of the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
3. Record and document inspection results accurately using standard forms or electronic systems.
4. Communicate quality issues or concerns to supervisors and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
5. Monitor and verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the production facility.
6. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the quality control area.
7. Participate in training programs related to quality control procedures and practices.
8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and practices are preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read and write effectively in English.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording inspection data.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) is a plus
