Terms of Reference (TOR) for Business Development and Social Media Consultancy


Project Context

The Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) is implementing the STEP project to enhance the sustainability and scalability of its community kitchen, HOWCK (House of Wisdom Community Kitchen) located in Tripoli. The consultancy’s goal is to support HOWCK achieve a 40% increase in sales within 8 months of contract signature and reach the number of sales equivalents to its full production capacity within three years. This initiative will enhance operational efficiency, expand market reach, and contribute to financial sustainability through business development, effective branding, marketing strategies, and a social media campaign.


This TOR aims to engage a qualified agency capable of providing:

1. Business development consultancy services, focusing on strategic planning, market growth, and sustainability.

2. Social media management services to increase market visibility and digital engagement.


Agencies are encouraged to apply as single entities providing both services or as lead agencies outsourcing complementary expertise while

ensuring full accountability and coherence in deliverables.


Objectives

The engaged agency will:

1. Develop and implement strategies to achieve the STEP project’s objectives, ensuring operational and financial sustainability for HOWCK.

2. Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the business development plan, boosting HOWCK’s visibility and customer engagement.

3. Provide seamless integration of the business development plan and social media activities, into AICA’s strategy ensuring compliance with AICA’s Odoo ERP system to ensure data-driven strategies.
