Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Warehouse and Logistics Section Head to lead and oversee all warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in optimizing warehouse processes, managing logistics, and leading teams within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management:
Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Logistics Management:
Manage all logistics activities, including transportation, distribution, and customs clearance. Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel. Provide training and coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- ERP System Management:
Utilize the company's ERP system to manage warehouse and logistics operations. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.
- Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse and logistics personnel.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as production, sales, and procurement, to ensure seamless flow of goods.
- Travel:
Frequent travel to KSA, Syria, and Iraq is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within a manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with ERP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel frequently to KSA, Syria, and Iraq.
- Age: 35+
