Loading and Consolidation Supervisor

Responsible for overseeing the loading, unloading, and consolidation of goods while managing drivers, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations. Requires strong logistics experience to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance

1. Logistics & Load Consolidation
• Plan and oversee logistics operations, ensuring smooth transportation flow.
• Supervise loading and unloading processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy
• Optimize shipment consolidation to reduce transportation costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams for timely deliveries.
• Track and manage inventory movement with proper documentation.
2. Driver & Fleet Management
• Manage and supervise a team of drivers, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Assign routes and loads based on priority and optimization.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, inspections, and compliance with regulations.
• Track driver performance and address punctuality or safety concerns.
3. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all logistics and transportation activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for drivers and loading staff.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training programs.
4. Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with warehouse, dispatch, and logistics teams to streamline operations.
• Communicate schedules, delivery instructions, and updates to drivers.
• Handle issues related to delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints.
5. Reporting & Technology Use
 Maintain records of shipments, driver schedules, and fleet maintenance.
 Use logistics and fleet management software for tracking and reporting.
 Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
 Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain preferred.
 Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Logistics planning and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of fleet management and logistics software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of transportation safety and compliance regulations
