We are looking for an Electrical Draftsman (CAD Operator - Electrical) to join our team. The main role of the draftsman is to use design software to generate electrical drawings for engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical and technical drawings, including wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, circuit schematics, and panel
designs.
• Create preliminary sketches and produce detailed electrical designs and schematics.
• Develop multiple design versions for review by electrical engineers.
• Incorporate details into electrical plans using knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and installation techniques.
• Calculate the quantity and quality of materials, estimate material and labor costs, and determine project timelines.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications for electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Represent and assist engineers on-site to ensure that plans and specifications are correctly followed.
• Work under the supervision of electrical engineers or project managers.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure that electrical designs align with project requirements and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant software).
• 10 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and patience in drafting work.
• Technical drawing skills with the ability to interpret and develop electrical designs
