Position Summary / Job Brief:

The Senior Architect is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the conceptual and technical design of complex projects. This role demands a blend of creative vision and technical mastery. The ideal
candidate will lead the design process from concept to completion while integrating value engineering, adhering to acceptance criteria, and enforcing rigorous design review and approval processes. This ensures
not only visual excellence and functional integrity but also cost efficiency and compliance with industry standards.


Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.


Required Experience & Certificates:

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in architectural design.
Strong experience in concept design, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.
Knowledge of codes, regulations, and environmental sustainability practices


Required Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and similar related software and tools.
Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and structural systems.
Creativity and ability to develop innovative architectural solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; French is a plus.


Tasks and Duties:

Develop and drive innovative architectural design concepts from initial concept through to final delivery.
Integrate sustainable practices, emerging design trends, and state-of-the-art technologies into projects.
Ensure designs meet established acceptance criteria, quality benchmarks, and client expectations.
Oversee multidisciplinary collaboration with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes.
Lead regular design review and approval meetings to validate design integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and review architectural drawings, renderings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations and standards.
Implement rigorous quality control procedures, including the use of acceptance criteria and structured design review protocols.
Monitor and enforce design standards to maintain consistency and high quality across projects.
Apply value engineering principles to analyze design alternatives, optimize material use, and reduce project costs without compromising quality or aesthetics.
Continuously evaluate and refine design processes to enhance efficiency, innovation, and overall project value.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, ensuring each project maximizes value for the client.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting innovative design proposals and addressing feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop clear, compelling presentations and reports that translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, regulatory bodies, and industry experts to support project success
