Position Summary / Job Brief:

The QS Graduate Engineer will play a critical role in supporting our construction projects by accurately extracting and analyzing quantities from civil, architectural, and MEP drawings. They are responsible for
constructing detailed Bills of Quantities, preparing budget sheets, and maintaining comprehensive cost control systems. The position demands strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to data entry and financial review, ensuring all payment applications are thoroughly checked and processed.


Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Preferably graduated from Lebanese University or Beirut Arab University (BAU).


Required Experience & Certificates:

0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or related fields.
1 year of experience on site is a plus.
Basic knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, and cost control.


Required Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil, architectural, and MEP drawings.
Strong numerical, analytical, and data entry skills.
Familiarity with BOQ construction, budgeting, and cost control methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and apply new techniques in cost estimation and project management
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; French is a plus.


Tasks and Duties:

Analyze and extract quantities for all types of civil & finishing works.
Analyze and extract quantities for major MEP works.
Construct a well read BOQ based on used divisions.
Ability to read and analyze Civil, Architectural, & MEP drawings.
Construct Budget Sheets (Quantity, UoM, Unit Prices and totals).
Construct Cost Control tables.
Data Entry and analysis of Budget Tables.
Check, review, and comment on payment applications from subcontractors to contractor.
Prepare payment applications for contractors to client.
Assist in preparing progress reports and cost analysis for management
