Financial Analyst Intern

Position Summary / Job Brief:

The Junior Financial Analyst will provide essential financial analysis and reporting support to our business consultancy team. The role is critical in enabling consultants to develop strategic insights and deliver
comprehensive financial recommendations to our clients. The position is designed for candidates who are keen to build their expertise in financial analysis while directly contributing to client success.


Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is preferred.


Required Experience & Certificates:

0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role.
Previous exposure to consultancy environments or business support functions is preferred.
Strong experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
Certification such as International Financial Reporting (ifr), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or CPA is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
Experience with data visualization and financial tools is an asset.


Required Skills:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling tools.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, French and Arabic is required.


Tasks and Duties:

Support business consultants by preparing detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analyses.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to client projects.
Compile, validate, and interpret financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Support risk assessment and financial due diligence for company projects.
Assist in the creation of financial models that support consultancy projects and client recommendations.
Collaborate with business consultants to understand client needs and tailor financial insights accordingly.
Participate in client meetings to present financial findings.
Ensure all financial analyses comply with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance data quality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and analysis
