Beit Kanz restaurant is hiring a Barman!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, quality beverage preparation, cleanliness, and efficient bar operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages (such as cappuccino, latte, and americano), cocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and standards
• Take and serve beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide recommendations to guests on drinks and menu offerings when needed
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar and coffee station at all times
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or replenishment needs
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverages and bar supplies
• Handle billing and payments accurately when required
• Collaborate with waiters/waitresses and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service guidelines

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience as a barman/barista or in a similar role is preferred

Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar service techniques is a plus

Good knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based beverages such as cappuccino, latte, and americano

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
