Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead and manage comprehensive structural upgrade and facility modernization projects from conception through to successful handover.
Strategic Planning: Oversee detailed structural assessments and develop strategic plans to enhance the lifespan, safety, and functionality of existing assets.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
Financial and Schedule Management: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver projects on schedule and within financial parameters.
Compliance and Quality: Ensure all construction and enhancement activities strictly comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and the highest quality standards.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks early and implement proactive problem-solving and rigorous quality control measures.
Mentorship: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and project teams.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of proven experience in civil engineering and project management, with a strong focus on structural upgrades, retrofitting, or complex facility enhancements.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or equivalent professional certifications are strongly desired.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management software and modern engineering tools.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and deliver high-stakes engineering projects successfully
