Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Technician

Location: Selata – North Lebanon

Type of Employment: Full-time

Department: Maintenance / Operations

The objective of the position

The Mechanical and Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation while minimizing downtime and preventing equipment failures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Inspect equipment failures, identify their causes, repair them, and replace faulty parts as needed.
• Maintain motors, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components.
• Inspect and repair electrical panels, control boards, and electrical installations.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and testing its functionality.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any malfunctions or potential failures to the direct supervisor.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and operational emergencies.
• Document maintenance and repair activities and parts used.
• Utilize tools and measuring devices safely and accurately.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental procedures established by the company.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and operational teams as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Skills

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering BT or TS/LT in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related technical field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance or in an industrial environment, preferably in a similar field.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of industrial safety procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience in welding or metal fabrication or PLC programming is an additional advantage.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
