Accounting Department | Full-time, Onsite - Beirut

About the Role
We are hiring a Cost & Inventory Control Manager to join the Accounting team. This role owns the full cost-and-inventory cycle , from production costing through purchasing , and acts as the bridge between operations data and financial reporting. The role is based onsite in Beirut, with the possibility of shifting to a hybrid/remote arrangement later once processes are established.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee production costing: build and maintain standard costs, track cost variances, and report on production cost performance.
Manage inventory control: monitor stock accuracy, reconcile physical vs. system inventory, and investigate discrepancies.
Lead purchasing oversight: review purchase orders, evaluate supplier pricing, and ensure procurement aligns with cost targets.
Partner with the accounting team on month-end close items related to inventory valuation, COGS, and cost accruals.
Identify and flag process gaps in the costing, inventory, or purchasing workflow, and recommend fixes.
Maintain documentation and controls around inventory and cost accounting in line with company policy.
Provide regular reporting to finance leadership on cost trends, inventory health, and purchasing performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory control, or purchasing (ideally in food & beverage, retail, or manufacturing).
Fluent in French (spoken and written) , required.
Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Enquest, SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to translate operational data into financial insight.
Able to work onsite full-time in Beirut.
