• Collaborating closely with procurement and sales teams, you will forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and place orders with international suppliers ahead of time to prevent stockouts and minimize sea freight and Air freight shipping costs, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
• Make sure all official documents needed for goods clearance at Beirut Port and Airport are available on time according to customs authorities requirements to ensure smooth and proper clearance
• Continuous audits of inventory movements In & Out and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain a high level of accuracy in the inventory database. This will require physical presence and detailed counting of items while unloading a container or preparing goods for deliveries.
• Conduct regular audits on inventory movements in main warehouse (Dekwaneh) and 2 other warehouses (Aramoun & Zahle) and reconcile any discrepancies to uphold a high level of accuracy in the inventory database and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare Entry & Delivery orders related to any purchase or sale and make sure it is properly entered in the stock system
• Assist and reply the sales team enquiries about available stock items quantities, and prepare the sales orders for same or next day delivery.
• Inform Management &/or Marketing Team of any slow moving or unselling item(s), in order to take the necessary actions to speed up their sales
• Study the current warehouse Stock distribution plan and change any stock location if deemed necessary for better and more efficient movement or to improve stocking capacity, and supervise loaders while doing any stock movement
