Business Development Professional

A global supplier of intelligent and conventional fire alarm systems, fire-fighting equipment, fire suppression systems, security products, home automation solutions, and customized systems is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development professional.
This individual will play a pivotal role in initiating and developing the business presence of the company in Lebanon and across West, South, and Central Africa by identifying and establishing partnerships with distributors and channel partners.
Essential Job functions
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential opportunities and challenges within the Lebanese and African region.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to formulate effective business strategies.

• Identify and evaluate potential distributors and channel partners in West, South, and Central Africa who align with company’s values and objectives.
• Establish criteria for selecting distributors, considering factors such as market reach, reputation, and capability (financial, logistics, etc.).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and support.
• Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure distributors are equipped to effectively promote and sell RCL International products.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets within the Lebanese and African market.
• Monitor distributor performance and sales activities, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, achievements, and challenges to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Good Understanding of the African market landscape, with experience working in or with the region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within Africa (or other countries) as required.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
Previous Experience: Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience, preferably within the fire safety, security, or home automation industries.
