The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for one of our clients. By leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), our client aims to transform our comprehensive reporting module into an intuitive, conversational intelligence layer.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be the architect behind this transition. Your mission is to bridge the gap between our rich, granular operational datasets and secure, context-aware natural language querying. You will design the next generation of AI-powered data access, lowering the barrier to insight and enabling users to surface strategic information through intelligent conversation.

What we are looking for:
Deep professional knowledge of . NET (Framework & Core) and Entity Framework (6 & Core). Strong experience navigating the broad Azure ecosystem within enterprise-grade environments (Azure Open AI Service, App Services, Service Bus). Proven track record in performance optimization, specifically handling and querying large-scale operational datasets. Ability to design secure, scalable integration layers between LLMs and existing data infrastructure. A commitment to SOLID principles and building maintainable, testable backend services. Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours). We are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.

Nice-to-Have
Experience building proactive monitoring and alerting solutions based on client data patterns (rather than just infrastructure health). Familiarity with Semantic Kernel, Lang Chain, or direct integration with Azure Open AI APIs. Understanding of vector search/embeddings for context-aware data retrieval.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement the backend logic to enable natural language interaction over complex datasets. Work closely with the data team to ensure LLMs have secure, performant access to the right context and metadata. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data retrieval to ensure conversational AI responses are near-instantaneous. Transition our core product from traditional reporting to proactive, AI-driven insight generation. Ensure all AI-driven data access adheres to strict enterprise-grade security and privacy standards.
